Among hundreds of bubbling streams
Those who love fishing in nature will find Val Rendena to be a magnificent place for nurturing their passion. The services offered, the natural sceneries and the variety of environments are a guarantee of a satisfying experience in which you can choose between the three springs of the Sarca, one of the largest rivers in Italy, among hundreds of sparkling streams and alpine lakes. Albergo Moleta is an authorised distributor for issuing the necessary permits for fishing in Trentino and a 20% discount on the purchase of such permits is available to guests staying at the hotel.
The S. Vili
Spiazzo trail is one of the stages of the San Vili path, an SAT route of almost one hundred kilometres that is covered on foot from Madonna di Campiglio to Trento, emulating the evangelical mission of San Vigilio. The parish church of Spiazzo is dedicated to Saint Vigilius of Trent. Legend has it that on the banks of the Sarca river in Spiazzo, Saint Vigilius of Trent was martyred on 26 June 405 AD, after encountering pagans furious at the idea of being evangelised.
Albergo Moleta offers hospitality and a special welcome to pilgrims who seek refuge here. A traditional dinner is always ready for them.
Spiazzo and Val Rendena are at the heart of the largest protected area in Trentino. In its 620 kilometres of expanse, the Park encloses to the east the verticality of the peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and to the west the icy expanses of the Adamello – Presanella Group. Animals, plants, flowers, lakes and rivers are protected to ensure that their environmental value continues to be preserved. In summer, the park offers many activities to help you immerse yourself in nature with a slow and relaxing pace.
Located in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, it is the largest skiable area in Trentino. The Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena offers a thousand opportunities to have fun skiing. More than 150 kilometres of slopes, always snow-covered and well prepared, and 60 ski lifts connecting Val di Sole and Val Rendena and the three most popular and prestigious ski areas: Folgarida Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo.
